There are thirteen accredited colleges, universities, and community that offer on- campus nursing courses in the state of Nevada.
Nurses interested in obtaining further education have two graduate schools to consider. University of Nevada-Reno offers both a Master of Science (MSN) and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. The University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in addition to the Master of Science and Doctor of Nursing Practice offers a degree in Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
